These Terms of Service apply to all Decision IV products, including the Decision IV judgment training platform and Franchise Case (collectively, the "Services").

1. Educational Purpose Only

Franchise Case provides educational simulations and general guidance about franchise ownership. Our assessment, matching tool, and reports are designed to help you reflect on your decision-making style and explore franchise options — they are not professional financial, legal, or investment advice.

2. No Guarantees

Franchise Case does not guarantee:

• That any franchise brand will accept you as a franchisee
• That your franchise investment will be profitable
• That your assessment score correlates with real-world franchise success
• That our matching algorithm accurately predicts franchisee outcomes
• That our data (investment ranges, SBA default rates, royalty percentages) is current or accurate — always verify figures in the official Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)

3. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Before making any franchise investment, you should:

• Review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for any brand you're considering
• Consult a qualified franchise attorney
• Consult a certified public accountant (CPA) familiar with franchise investments
• Speak with existing and former franchisees of the brand
• Conduct independent market research in your target territory

Our tools are a starting point for your research — not the end of it.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Franchise Case and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our tools, including but not limited to: investment losses, business failure, franchise disputes, or decisions made based on our assessment results or brand matching.

5. Third-Party Contact

If you opt in to brand connections, franchise brands that receive your profile may contact you directly. Franchise Case is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or conduct of communications from third-party brands. We recommend verifying all brand claims independently.

6. Data Accuracy

Our franchise brand data (investment ranges, SBA default rates, royalty rates, brand descriptions) is compiled from publicly available sources and may contain errors or be outdated. We update this data periodically but do not guarantee its accuracy. Always verify all figures in the brand's current FDD before making any decision.

7. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Franchise Case.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Franchise Case after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
